Let Me In, the US remake of one of my favorite films of last year, Swedish vampire/coming of age film Let The Right One In, just got a trailer.
And it looks pretty interesting. From the footage shown it looks like it could almost be a shot-for-shot remake. I do worry slightly though (from seeing the underpass scene) that it’ll be made to fit the American horror crowd - the original wasn’t scary and that was the point.
I’m quietly confident though - the casting is great (the two young actors are both very talented) - but I still can’t figure out how they are going to deliver an ending anything like the original.
