Toy Story 3 is an endearing and (almost) moving animation that finally ties up the story of Andy’s toys that was started back in 1995. However, while it may be fashionable to proclaim Toy Story 3 as one of the best movies ever, I wasn’t entirely convinced. It felt a little manipulative - the toys are often put in situations that make you fear for them before being miraculously saved - and the ending, whilst trying hard to tug at the heart strings, could be seen as a little contrived.

I enjoyed spending time with the characters again and many of the new characters are entirely worthwhile. As an overall experience though, Toy Story 3 was just good, not great.
