Eclipse, the third movie in the Twilight franchise is certainly the best directed of the films - David Slade brings some style to the proceedings, and the character flashbacks are visually and narratively interesting. But Eclipse suffers from being the middle film of the franchise - it’s essentially a non-story, starting and ending on the same note and only managing to eliminate a minor villain that no-one cares about.
